Capwatt acquired from Ignis Capital six cogeneration plants located in Spain, in the regions of Catalonia, Aragon and Castilla y Leon, with a total power of 88 MW. These plants operate on the treatment of residues originating from swiniculture, performing an important environmental function in a circular economy.

This acquisition marks Capwatt's growth strategy as a promoter of integrated energy solutions, allowing the company to more than double its current installed power, at the same time that it reinforces its presence in the Spanish market.
